The Aoi, a new vessel that debuted in October 2023, is designed as a "Terrace Resort Floating on the Seto Inland Sea," equipped with facilities to ensure you enjoy your ship journey.

The Fune Pippi udon counter, named after the Sanuki dialect word for udon, and the Umageya cafe and shop, named after the Sanuki expression meaning "looking good," offer original udon made with olive beef and olive oil. The menu also includes items developed in collaboration with a popular gelato shop and the only sake brewery on Shodoshima Island, as well as Sanuki's famous anmochi zoni soup (available seasonally). Enjoy a variety of culinary delights that will add flavor to your journey.

The vaulted entrance hall at the center of the 2nd floor passenger cabins is designed as a "rice terrace lobby." The central staircase features an integrated bench and evokes the image of Shodoshima's terraced rice fields. Gentle melodies from an automatic piano add to the relaxing atmosphere and heighten the anticipation of your island journey.

The rooftop terrace on the top level is made of natural wood. There is also a semicircular Smile Stage and grass plaza where passengers can enjoy passing under the Akashi-Ohashi Bridge.

For small pets, you may use the onboard Pet Lounge if they are brought in a cage no larger than 50 cm on each side.
