Blue Grace

On Thursday, March 27, 2025, the naming and launching ceremony for the Blue Grace was held at the Setoda Plant of Naikai Zosen Corporation. A launching ceremony is the moment when a ship floats on the sea for the first time, and is to celebrate its birth as a ship and to pray for its safe passage. Construction of the ferry’s onboard facilities is progressing smoothly toward its entry into service on August 8.
‘Grace’ includes the nuance of elegance and style. The name expresses the ferry’s elegant cabins and large public baths that meet the diverse needs of passengers, enabling travel through the Tsugaru Strait area in style. A time not simply for travel, but also for elegance. Blue Grace offers such a voyage.
