How to Activate WILLER eSIM

Important Notes Before Activation

Activation can only be performed once. Please make sure to check the following items before starting the activation process.

1. Stable Internet Connection

A stable internet connection is required for activation. If the activation fails due to a poor connection, the eSIM cannot be reinstalled.

2. Do Not Delete the eSIM

The eSIM can be installed only once. Even if you encounter any issues, please do NOT delete or remove the eSIM from your device.

3. Displaying the QR Code

Depending on your device, to scan the QR code, you need to display it on a separate device (such as another smartphone, tablet, or PC).

4. QR Code Can Only Be Scanned Once

The QR code can only be scanned once. Similarly, if you choose to enter the details manually, the activation code is for one-time use only.

Others

• We recommend installing your eSIM before arriving in Japan for a seamless start. (If you install after arrival, you will need a Wi-Fi connection, such as free airport Wi-Fi.)
• Please turn off Airplane Mode, enable Data Roaming for the new eSIM in your settings, and deactivate your home SIM to avoid roaming charges. Your device will automatically connect to a local network.
• The settings screens and steps may vary depending on your device and OS version.
• To ensure the best performance, it is highly recommended to update your operating system to the latest version before setting up your WILLER eSIM.
• Your eSIM will not be activated until you arrive in Japan. Therefore, please be assured that even if you install it before entering Japan, the usage days will not be used up.
