The tour may be canceled if it is determined that safety will be compromised due to a storm such as a typhoon, or if the ship breaks down.
Additionally, if there are too few passengers scheduled to board the boat, the tour may be canceled. - Please pay for other purchases not included in the tour cost yourself.
- This tour is not a private guided tour. You may be accompanied by other groups.
- The shuttle bus will depart on time. If you are late for the meeting time, you may not be able to participate.
- The houseboat may sway depending on the wave conditions on the day.
If you are concerned about motion sickness, we recommend that you take commercially available motion sickness medication before boarding. -
All-you-can-eat and drink times are as follows.
Iron griddle usage time: Approximately 90 minutes
*When the time comes, the staff will put out the fire. You can continue eating even after the fire is extinguished.
All-you-can-drink: Approximately 110 minutes
*Orders must be placed 10 minutes before arrival. Please be sure to finish your drink before ordering the next drink.

What is the Yakatabune?
A yakatabune is a kind of privately owned Japanese boat that has been in use since the Heian period. Today, you can enjoy Japanese cuisine and Sake while looking at amazing scenery on the houseboat during this tour!
Can I choose drinks and food on the boat by myself?
You can choose what you want to have!
How many drinks and dishes can I have ?
All-you-can-eat and drink for 2 hours (Including alcohol drinks).
Example: Monjayaki and other Japanese cuisine that uses an iron griddle to cook food, sweets, drinks, and so on!
I cannot drink alcohol. Can I join the tour?
No worries. You can order soft drinks too.
Is smoking allowed on the boat?
Smoking is strictly prohibited. (Including heated tobacco and electronic cigarettes).
Please use the smoking area in the waiting area before boarding and after disembarking.
Are there toilets on the boat?
A flush toilet is equipped. Specifications vary depending on the ship, either for all gender or separate for men and women.
There are also three toilets available at the waiting area at Shinkiba Pier.
Will the staff make the Monjayaki for me?
One of the fun parts of this tour is making your own Monjayaki! There is no problem as the staff and interpreter guide will support you.
Is it possible for the shuttle bus to pick me up at a location other than Shinkiba Station?
Our shuttle bus only operates between Shinkiba Pier and Shinkiba Station.
