Details
The breakfast plate consists of quiche and potage made using Tamba black soybeans. Salad with Katashima's original pickles, local vegetables, and Tendaki yuzu dressing. For dessert, we offer tiramisu made using black soybean coffee and Kinoshita Brewery's "Time Machine" sake, and gelée made using Kinoshita Brewery's "Hitokuiiwa" sake and ice milk.

PATTISERIE CAFÉ KATASHIMA
Since its founding in 1970, patisserie cafe Katashima has sunk its roots into the region, and works to spread the appeal of food, including that of Western confectionery.
Currently, with the addition of our sister site Restaurant La Riviere, we operate five restaurants in the Kitakinki area. In recent years, we have focused on producing food that makes use of the excellent local ingredients and resources.
This is a collaborative project involving Tango KURO-MATSU and "black soybeans" from Tamba! Tamba black soybean dishes and sweets that can be enjoyed onboard the Tango KURO-MATSU.
The first dish is a freshly baked quiche and a hot potage made mainly using Tamba black soybeans. The second dish is a fragrant black soybean coffee tiramisu.
