How to access
By car
90 minutes from Misato IC! Look for the Sunflower signboard after exiting Mito-Oarai IC.
From Tokyo, the Joban Expressway or Higashi-Kanto Expressway routes are convenient.
By Joban Expressway: Exit at Mito-Oarai IC and proceed along Route 51.
At Shiozaki Intersection, Route 51 splits from Prefectural Road 2 (Mito-Hokota-Sahara Line), but continue straight on Route 51.
By Higashi-Kanto Expressway: Exit at Itako IC (the final interchange) and continue straight on Route 51 towards Oarai.

By bus
Highway buses operate from Tokyo Station Yaesu South Exit to Mito Station.
From Mito Station, please use the Kashima Rinkai Railway or Ibaraki Kotsu local bus.
By train
It's about 90 minutes from central Tokyo to Oarai using the "Super Hitachi"!
From Tokyo, take the Joban Line from Ueno Station, transfer to the Kashima Rinkai Railway at Mito Station, and get off at Oarai Station.
Ueno Station to Mito Station is about 70 minutes by Limited Express Super Hitachi, and Mito Station to Oarai Station is about 15 minutes.
From Oarai Station, the Oarai Town Loop Bus "Kaiyugo" (Oarai Resort Outlet Line) is convenient.
If you take a taxi, it's about 5 minutes. If you have time, you can also walk (approx. 20-30 minutes).
